Secure each shingle at the top using three 1 in 2 5 cm roofing nails.
Cover the roof with roofing felt.
Begin at the bottom working in horizontal lines and gradually moving upward.
Continue nailing cut shingles along the bottom row to create a solid strip of shingles at the bottom of the roof.
Place one nail at each corner a little way in from the edges and then one if not two in the middle.
How to shingle a shed with 3 tab and architectural shingles.
Installing a shingle shed roof is very simple and requires little diy know how.
Step 2 position the first shingle so its end overhangs the edge of the roof by 1 1 4 to 1 1 2 inches.
